How do you promote an airline and their special winter sports offers in London – a city that is known for the rainiest winters?
We came up with a unique solution for SWISS International Air Lines. As part of our “Made of Switzerland” winter campaign in the United Kingdom, we created a winter wonderland experience in the heart of London.
According to the motto: “Winter Wonderland is just a throw away“, we transformed the Old Spitalfields Market and a booth at the Ski & Snowboard Festival into a winter playground. The heart of the experience was an interactive display that transported people visually to the Swiss Alps and allowed them to participate in a virtual snowball fight.
For 3 days the 64 square meter setup was staged in real snow and pine trees surrounding a 2×3 m digital screen with interactive technology such as a unity 3D real-time engine and tracking device.
With a little creativity and innovation, it’s possible to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Our use of innovative technology and expertise in customized solutions led to a tremendous response, with our winter wonderland being the most fun location in London. We introduced thousands of people to our message in the most efficient and enjoyable way possible. In doing so, we increased customer engagement and brand awareness for SWISS International Air Lines.
